Savoury Flavours achieves highest Grade EFSIS/BRC CertificationNovember 2005 --
This January 2005 issue of the BRC Global Standard is the first to bring the requirements of EFSIS and BRC into line, and introduces a grading system designed to provide a transparent framework for continuous improvement, at the same time as providing a clear indication to existing and potential customers of ongoing commitment to quality, hygiene and product safety. Savoury Flavours was pleased to have achieved Higher level certification against the previous EFSIS standard at its first attempt last year; and is now delighted to have demonstrated a significant improvement in its operations, resulting in a prestigious "A" grading against the new BRC Global Standard. This is the highest grading, and indicates 10 or less minor non-conformances against the 250+ requirements of the standard. Savoury Flavours aims to reduce its five minors to even less in years to come.....
